Dracut first half goal scored by freshman Chelsey Mahoney assist by Bryanna Goodine.  In the second half, Miranda Mello added the winning goal with a nicely placed direct kick. Scoring for St. Mary's was Amanda Webster on a PK in the second half. Dracut had five varsity players on the bench (four starter) for injuries or other reasons.
The team really came together to pull off a big win against St. Mary's. 
Playing well for Dracut was Laura Kirsch and Nikki L'Heureux. Kim Forance and Kasey Pizza step up to help control the middle of the field with Caitlyn Barclay, and Briana Dowdle.
 
Defensively DJ Mello, Leora L'Heureux, Kelsey Harding, and Ana Barbas played well for Dracut.  Shutting down St. Mary's high scorer Amanda Webster.
 Goal Keeper Rachel Ledbetter came up with 14 saves on the day. Brittany Silva has been released to play on 10/21 by her doctor after suffering a broken foot in the Haverhill game.  Olivia MacDonald is out for the season with an ACL injury.  She will be having surgery on 10/31.    Game on 10/07/08 Methuen ...........1

Miranda Mello assisted by Alexa Zielinski Game well played by Dracut Chelsey Mahoney, Alexa Zielinski, and Leora L'Heureux. Late in the second half, a defensive break down cost Dracut a goal.   Goal Keeper Rachel Ledbetter made 8 saves to hold Methuen to one second half goal. Olivia MacDonald is out with a knee injury that occurred during the Andover game.

Andover squeaked by the Dracut Middies with a late second half goal.  Scoring for Andover was Jennifer Caro and MacKenzie Koravos each had a goal and assisted on the other.  Dracut goal was scored by Olivia MacDonald. 
 
Strong showing from Dracut midfield Miranda Mello, Bryanna Goodine, and Kailiegh Rubert.

Central Catholic upset Dracut with a second half goal by Ashley Evangelista.  Each time these teams meet it like a family revenue.  The Dracut players from Central Catholic enjoy coming back to play there grammar and middle school teammates.  There is alot of history between these players.
 
Both teams played well defensively.  Central Catholic capitalized on the off-side trap to score the goal in the second half.  Playing well for Dracut was DJ Mello, Chelsey Mahoney.
 
Brittany Silva maybe out for the rest of the season with a broken foot.

The Hillies squeezed by the Middies.  The Hillies scored three quick goals in the first 15 minutes of the game.  All three goals were scored by Casey Anderson.  Dracut came back strong to close the half at 3-1.  Dracut's first half goal was scored by Miranda Mello, assisted by Alexa Zielinski.  Dracut continued to play strong throughout the second half.  Dracut second half goal was scored by Kim Forance, assisted by Laura Kirsch.

Lowell goals scored by Nina Braga, and two by Becca Raymond.  Nina Braga also had in assist.
 
Offensive battle, Both teams played well.
 
Lowell was up 3-1, early in the second half.  Dracut fought back in the second half to tie the game.

Dracut Middies are off to a great start. Winning their home opener against Methuen.  Placing the ball in the net for Dracut in the first half was Leora L'Heureux and Alexa Zielinski.  In the second half the two young freshman Chelsey Mahoney and Laura Kirsch each added to the score. 
 
A strong midfield attack by Briana Dowdle, Miranda Mello, and Brittany Silva. 
 
Defensively, Kaileigh Rubert and DJ Mello had a strong showing, both players came up with some key tackles. 
 
GK Rachel Ledbetter came up with 15 saves to hold the Methuen team to two goals.
