Rough opener for Westford Academy baseball team
"The Middies plated five
runs in the first, quickly putting Westford in a hole. Unfortunately for
the Ghosts they could not get out of that hole and ultimately dropped
their season opener, 12-1."
New coaches inherit a pair of talented
teams
"We're excited about the season," said Saucier. "We
have a lot of returning players who tasted baseball success last year --
and the nucleus (Matt Silva, Aaron Barbosa, Casey Sweeney, David Parent,
Kyle Adie) is a special group of athletes who have already won league
(division) titles in football, soccer and basketball during this current
school year.

Conference Division 2. A three-time All-MVC selection, Roy won the MVC
Division 2 Player of the Year award as a sophomore and a
junior."
